The gardens at the former Heronswood Nursery in Kingston, WA will be open to the public on Saturday, July 21st as part of the open gardens program of the Garden Conservancy. The garden will be open 10 am to 3 pm and there will be a $5 admission charge. To learn more go here.
As you may already be aware the negotiations between PNHC (the Pacific Northwest Horticulture Conserverancy) and the Atlee Burpee Company have broken down and the attempts by the organization to acquire the property have been suspended. This upcoming open day is a rare opportunity see the gardens again and to check in on its current status.
